22. November 2011: Field reliability
Thousands of Corelatus probes and switching modules are installed in dozens of countries around the world. Several large installations have been operating 24x7 for eight years.
The hardware failure rate in the entire installed base of modules is one module failure per 229 module-years.
26. August 2011: Software release 35a now available
Release 35a is now available for download from the customer-only area.
15. June 2011: Live SS7 captures in Wireshark on Windows
We've updated our example code to allow watching SS7 signalling on an E1/T1 with packets updated live in Wireshark, on Windows. Details here
29. September 2010: New hardware: Radio Access Network E1/T1 probe
The Corelatus Radio Access Network Probe is designed to provide low cost monitoring of 3G Iub and GSM Abis links.
A single probe provides 64 E1/T1 receivers in 1U of a 19" rack and can decode up to 768 concurrent channels of ISDN LAPD (for GSM networks) or 32 concurrent channels of ATM (for 3G networks).

The GTH API example code (in C, Perl, Python and Erlang) is now on github. (It will also continue being available as .zip files.)
1. February 2010: Expanded C example code
The blog discusses the expanded C example code which now includes a C API for accessing the GTH (and also precompiled .exe files for Win32 machines).
2. November 2009: GTH 2.1 hardware is now shipping
GTH 2.1 hardware is now shipping in volume. GTH 2.1 has the same physical size and external interfaces as GTH 2.0 and the same software API. GTH 2.1 offers increased frame relay monitoring performance.
- Double the frame relay performance in narrow channel applications: up to 256 input timeslots (16Mbit/s) in up to 64 separate channels. (GTH 2.0 provided 128 timeslots)
- Double the frame relay performance in wide channel applications: up to 496 input timeslots (32 Mbit/s) in up to 32 separate channels. 496 input timeslots corresponds to every timeslot on every E1 at the same time. (GTH 2.0 provided 256 timeslots).
This increased capacity allows one GTH 2.1 module to monitor both directions of eight GSM Gb interfaces.
GTH 2.1 can run software image gth2_system_32a or later.
